At Kathi’s Dance & Gym Center, we offer a girls competitive gymnastics program. Each spring, invitations are sent to gymnasts that we feel are ready to start entry level competitive gymnastics. If your child is interested in competing, you can also ask for an evaluation by our coaches. 

Our competitive team follows the Xcel Program based on requirements from USA Gymnastics. Our gymnasts compete levels Xcel Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Our younger teams compete in the North East Ohio Gymnastics League (NEOGL) as well as an occasional AAU meet. As our competitive gymnasts progress, they will move away from the NEOGL league and toward more AAU meets and USA Gymnastics meets. Our teams train 5-10 hours per week based on their level.

Our gymnasts (ages 6 – 17) workout year round and are very committed to the sport of gymnastics. The competitive season runs from November – June, with many gymnasts competing at state, regional and national meets at the end of the season. 

We pride ourselves in making our competitive team not only competitive, but also a way for our gymnasts to build lasting friendships, learn to work hard and not give up.  The goal is for them to best the best they can be.
